Namibe: Governor Inaugurates Social Undertakings

Namibe, 03/04 – A community-based centre, with a system of access to TV signal, was inaugurated Thursday in south-western Namibe province.

The centre was inaugurated by the local governor, Álvaro Boavida Neto, in the light of celebrations programme of 4th April, Day of Peace and National reconciliation, being marked countrywide, on Friday.

Inaugurated were also four houses to accommodate officials of the local administration, a health centre and a water station.

Álvaro Manuel da Boavida Neto, also cited the construction of a school, a health centre and rehabilitation of the National Police station, aimed at improving the conditions of the local residents.

Apart from the inauguration of the referred infrastructures, Boavida Neto, also handed over a water-tanker, with a capacity of 18,000 litres, as well as farming tools, among others.

At Kamucuio district, the governor also inaugurated a bridge over Chingo river.
