Football: 1º de Agosto To Overcome Disadvantage In Afro-Cups

Luanda, 04/03 – The football team of 1º de Agosto will play Friday, at Luanda`s Coqueiros Stadium, against Al Ittihad of Libya, for the second leg of preliminary round of African Champions League, where the military side want to overcome 0-1 defeat in the first leg match.

Missing Friday’s match are goal keeper Pitchú, who is injured, and players Love and Avex, both have not been included in the competition’s list. Love is the top scorer of the club, whereas Avex is the best hired player of this season.

In a bid to win the competition, coach Victor Manuel has called up 19 players for the match coinciding with the commemoration of the country`s Peace Day (4th April).

Bellow is the list of the athletes called for the decisive game:

Goalkeepers: Tony and Ângelo Defenders: Elisio, Kumaka, Locó, Jõazinho, Roger and Chinês. Midfilders: Zé Augusto, Mano, Mbiavanga, Miro, Levis, Alberto and Danny. Strikers: Phiry, Fofana, Bena and Milanzi.
