Football: Sports Official Concerned About Mantorras

Luanda, 09/21 - The injury of the international Angolan player Pedro Mantorras with Portugal`s Benfica de Luanda is still worrying various entities, including the deputy minister of Youth and Sports, Albino da Concaiçao, ANGOP has learnt.

The official has expressed his sadness at the possibility of Mantorras failing to play at the African Cup of Nations, scheduled for 2008 in Ghana.

Mantorras has been undergoing a special work therapy sessions, following a recommendation by the Spanish physician Ramon Cugat, two weeks ago.

The international player has a problem in his knee.
