Angola/Zaire: Over 40 DRC Citizens Repatriated

M´banza Kongo, 08/01 - At least 42 citizens from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), illegally residing in Kuimba district, northern Zaire province, were on Thursday repatriated to their country of origin, ANGOP learnt.

According to a source of the local Migration and Foreigners Services (SME), those citizens were detained following a micro-operation carried out by the Police over the last two weeks.

Many citizens from the DRC and western African countries have been trying to enter in Angola.
