Luanda, 08/01 - Angola`s female handball team are due to arrive on Saturday in China to participate at the Olympic Games, on August 08-24, Angop has learnt.

The female team, coached by Vivaldo Eduardo, carried out the last stage of the training camp in Germany, having won the three games it played against local teams.

Among the players are Elizabeth Viegas, Natália Bernardo, Wata Dombaxi, Azenaide Carlos, Elizabeth Cailo, Cristina Branco, Maria Pedro, Odeth Tavares, Nair Almeida, Luisa Kiala, Teresa Joaquim, Ilda Bengui, Bombo Kalandula, Filomena Trindade and Isabel Fernandes.

The Angolan ladies will play in Group A with China, Norway, Romania, Kazakhstan and France, being that the last squad are the opponents of Angola`s debut game in the competition.
