Angola: Luanda Governor On University Students Role

Luanda, 08/01 – The governor of Luanda, Francisca do Espírito Santo, on Friday here said university students can play an important role in working with communities, Angop has learnt.

The provincial governor was speaking at the opening session of the First Meeting of University Students of Samba district, that served as reflection on the problems facing the municipality.

Francisca do Espirito Santo said that students can work with the local administration in various aspects for district`s development.

"What we intend is that university students should be linked to community and the life of the population they are inserted", she said.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant to the Premier, Aguinaldo Jaime, and the deputy minister of Public Works, Joanes André.
