Angola at 19th World Petroleum Congress

Madrid, 06/29 – A delegation led by the Oil minister, Desidério Costa, represents Angola since this Sunday, in Madrid, at the 19th World Congress on Petroleum that will, among other issues, debate about the product’s price increase and environmental protection due to the oil industry.

The meeting shall also serve to seek solutions to the great increase of the oil price, which is now at USD 150 per barrel.

Apart from the incumbent minister, the Angolan delegation comprises his deputy minister, José Gualter Inocêncio, and the governor of the oil-rich Zaire province, Pedro Sebastião.
