ANGOP Holds Fourth Broad Consultative Council

Luanda, 06/25 - The state-run Angolan News Agency (Angop) is due to hold on June 26 in Luanda its fourth broad consultative council, during which will be carried out the balance of the decisions from the latest session and perspective future action.

The participants will analyse new perspectives towards the technological modernisation of the agency, new technologies, taking into account the coverage of the legislative elections, set for 05 September.

Other themes are mass media and the elections, the importance of the advantage of technologies in media sector".

Alongside the meeting there will be held a training to be attended by the company’s officials.

Angop was created in July, 1975 in Luanda and its first work dates back from October 30, 1975.
