Ruling Party Approves List of Candidates to National Assembly

Luanda, 06/25 – Members of the country’s ruling MPLA party Provincial Committee of Luanda approved on Tuesday by consensus the list of five candidates and equal umber of substitutes for deputies to the National Assembly in the capital city.

The event happened during an extraordinary meeting, presided over by MPLA first provincial secretary in Luanda, Bento Bento.

At the occasion, Bento Bento manifested his satisfaction at the consensual way members of the committee approved the list.

He assured that during the election gender was considered, since from the 10 candidates, four are women, two for the first five list and two as substitutes.
