Algeria Supports Angola on Holding African Roads Congress
Luanda, 06/24 – Algeria’s Public Works minister, Amar Ghoul, expressed this Tuesday in Luanda, unconditional support to Angola on holding the second African Roads Congress on 26-28 June.
Speaking to the press, during his arrival at Luanda’s 4 de Fevereiro International Airport to participate in the event, he said that this support is only possible due to the excellent relations between the two countries, as a reflex of a high level of friendship and cooperation between both countries.
To the minister, who is also the chairman of the African Roads Forum, the Algerian support to Angola proves the willingness of making this interchange grow.
At his arrival, the Algerian official was welcomed by his Angolan counterpart, Higino Carneiro.
The second African Roads Congress is an event being organised by the Angolan Roads Institute (INEA).
The event will constitute an opportunity to share experiences in the technical and roads network management among African entities.
In the Congress, the officials for African Roads sectors will discuss and reach an agreement on matters that have been affecting the continent.
The first African Roads Congress happened on 5-10 December 2005, in Algeria`s capital city, Algiers, having gathered about forty countries. |
