National Children Council Organises Seminar
Luanda, 06/23 – The National Children Council (CNAC) holds on 24-26 June, in Luanda, a training for the implementation of the 11 commitments on children.
According to a press release that ANGOP had access to, the meeting aims at training co-ordinators of provincial working
groups, sharing and analysing the rules and operation of CNAC specialised standing commissions.
Discussing and analysing good practices in the implementation of the 11 commitments and debating ways of its integration in provincial budgets and plans, as well as sharing the system
of indicators on Angolan children, are other aims of the event.
According to a document, the opening of the meeting will be carried out by the Welfare and Social Reintegration minister, João Baptista Kussumua, as chairperson of the National Children Council.
About 180 delegates from the country’s 18 provinces connected to education, health, welfare and social reintegration, justice and the National Children Institute (INAC) sectors, as well as
directors of planning and statistics offices of provincial governments and councillors of the institution will participate in the meeting. |
