Children`s Book Fair Happens This Month In Luanda

Luanda, 06/23 - The 2008 edition of the Children`s Book Fair is to be held on June 26-28, at Luanda`s Independence Square, in a promotion of the Ministry of Culture, ANGOP has learnt.

The event will have the participation of publishers, book sellers and other entities whose activity is relating to book production and sale of cultural and leisure items designed for children.

An exhibition, sale of books and other items for children, the release of literary works and discs, reading, painting and drawing sessions, as well as workshops on illustration and creative reading, talks, games among other activities will happen during the event.

The event happens every year in a perspective of the universal acknowledgement that books and reading are fundamental elements to eliminate illiteracy, and move towards scientific and technical progress.
