Keve Bank To Grant Over USD 100 million Credit

Lubango, 06/22 - Angola´s Bank Keve has released USD 140 million credit to small enterprises, said Friday the institution`s chairman of Board of Directors, Amílcar Azevedo da Silva.

Speaking to ANGOP after the inaugural ceremony held in Lubango city, southern Huíla province, of the institution`s first agency, the banking official said that the priority in its financial relations goes to the micro enterprises.

"Keve Bank will pay close attention to the small enterprises, due to their interference in the issues related to the unemployment, fighting inflation and other aspects which boost the economic growth", he emphasised, adding that the strengthening relation with Angolan Development Bank (BDA), the single banking institution of investment in the country, allows the Keve Bank with major capacity to expand credit across the province.

The bank counts, currently, on more than 10,000 customs scattered in four provinces of the country, namely Benguela (Lobito), Huíla (Lubango), Kwanza Sul (Sumbe, Waku-kungo and Libolo) and Luanda. Founded in 2004, the institution has its headquarters in Sumbe, coastal Kwanza Sul province.
