Soccer: National Squad To Face Uganda

Luanda, 06/22 - Angolan national soccer team will host Uganda Sunday at Luanda’s Coqueiros Stadium for the fourth round match of Group 3, qualifier for South Africa 2010 World Cup.

Angola lost 1-3 to Uganda, during the match held in Kampala, for the third round and the last of the first qualifying phase.

Sunday`s game in Luanda will be decisive for the national team, handled by the coach Oliveira Gonçalves, or they lose the group`s top place with six points, followed by Benin and Uganda. Niger have no point.

The national team will line up initially the following players: Lamá, Jamuana, Locó, Rui Marques, Yamba Asha, Mendonça (or Job), Gilberto, André Macanga, Zé Kalanga, Love and Flávio. The angolan player Manucho Gonçalves, on the service of Manchester United of England will miss the match due to injury
