Angola Hosts FAO Regional Conference For Africa

Luanda, 06/22 - Angola will hosts in 2010 the 26th Regional Conference for Africa of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), said its director general, Jacques Diouf.

The information was supplied at the 25th meeting of the organisation held in Nairobi, attended by the deputy minister of Agriculture Zacarias Sambeny, Angolan ambassador to Italy and permanent representative to FAO and WFP in Rome, Manuel Pedro Pacavira.

Zacarias Sambeny thanked for the given trust and said the country will count on support and experience from countries that have already held this conference, adding that everything will be done for the proper conditions.
