CPLP: Home Ministry Delegation Back From Portugal
Luanda, 04/11 – A delegation of Home Ministry, which attended the first Forum of
the Portuguese-speaking Community Countries (CPLP), held in Lisbon, Portugal, returned to
Luanda on Friday.
During the two day-working meeting, started Wednesday, the participants analysed and
concerted on cooperation among the member states.
The Angolan delegation, led by Home Affairs minister, general Roberto Leal Monteiro
“Ngongo”, called for support with a view to guarantee a peaceful election due for next
September in Angola.
According to the programme, the CPLP’s Police heads also gathered on the sidelines of the
forum, during which Angola was represented by a delegation led by its general commander,
Commissioner-General Ambrósio de Lemos.
The first event took place in Luanda, in which the participants decided that the concerted and
cooperation forum of the sector should also be created by the ministers of the sector.
The CPLP groups Angola, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe, Guinea
Bissau, Portugal, Brazil and East Timor. |
