Luanda, 04/08 – Angola’s head of State José Eduardo dos Santos Monday in Luanda analysed with the president of the West African nation of Benin, Boni Yayi, issues of bilateral interest.
During the private meeting, as part of the two-day visit of Beninese leader to Angola, the two statesmen also discussed matters concerning the international situation with highlight to Africa.
On his arrival in Luanda, president Boni Yayi told journalists that he was in Angola to transmit
and renew the love and solidarity from Beninese people.
He added that the trip would also enable to strengthen bilateral cooperation relations in
various sectors.
The head of State of the West African country of Benin is due to receive compliments of courtesy from the Angolan prime minister, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, before
attending an official dinner offered by the host president.
On Tuesday, Boni Yayi will attend a special session of the Angolan Parliament.
He will bid farewell to president José Eduardo dos Santos on Friday, before returning to
his county.
