Beninese President Stresses Relations With Angola
Luanda, 04/07 – The president of the West African nation of Benin, Boni Yayi, said
Monday here that Angola and his country have always moved together in difficult moments.
Boni Yayi, who was speaking to journalists, at Luanda`s "4 de Fevereiro" International
Airport, shortly after his arrival, said that his official visit to the Southern African
country serves to transmit and renew the love and the solidarity of Beninese people.
The trip, the first of its kind, will also enable the strengthening of bilateral cooperation ties in its
more different domains, stressed Beninese president, who added that such a cooperation
would be focussed on the sectors of Oil, Health, Military, Culture, Scientific and Commercial
Exchange.
The West African country’s statesman said that in the health sphere, Benin might transmit its
experience in the fight against falciform anaemia.
Boni Yayi, at the head of his government`s delegation, will hold talks with the Angolan leader
José Eduardo dos Santos, on bilateral interest issue, with a view to the strengthening of
friendship and cooperation ties between both peoples and governments. |
