Moxico: Family Ministry Promotes Workshop on “Gender And Leadership”

Luena, 10/09 – An upgrading seminar on "gender and leadership" happens from this Tuesday, in Luena city, under the aegis of the provincial administration of family and women promotion, as part of the national rural women events, to be marked on October 15.

At the three-day workshop, participants will reflect on the problem of rural poverty and its implication within the environment.

Topics relating to women, development, sex concept, gender, leadership, duties, profile and a leader, among others will be discussed at the seminar.

At the opening session, the head of department for the family policy area, Adelina Chilica said that the women must learn by breaking some traditions and myths that have previously obstructed them to have access to education.
