Introduction
Starting Saturday (November 30) Angola is for the first time hosting a final phase of the African Champions Males' Basketball Cup. Eight teams will participate in a contest taking place for the 18th time. Angola will be represented by tri-champion Primeiro de Agosto. The tournament will consist of a 1st phase with 2 series of four and a 2nd in crossed system between the best 2 of each preliminary group. Cup competitors are 1º de Agosto (Angola), ABC Praia (Cape Verde), Inter de Brazzaville (DR Congo), Asec Mimosas and ABC Abidjan (Cote d'Ivoire), Ports Authority (Kenya), Stade Malien (Mali) and Capo Libreville (Gabon).
